Visiting the Jersey Shore - Not as Dirty as You Think

Today we took a day trip to the Jersey Shore. Mom has been hesitant to visit, as she thought it would be filthy. She was really wrong. Ms. Suzana and Aydin took us, and they were great tour guides.

Aydin and I were fearless in the water. We loved diving into the waves, which made our moms really nervous.
Stevie is a beach baby, for sure. I think she could have dug a hole to China!
We will definitely be heading back to the beach before fall arrives. I can't believe how fortunate we are to live in the city, and still be able to enjoy the beach.

A Nikolas Reunion

This week we went to Pennsylvania to visit Nikolas, Miss Danielle, Mr. Constantine, and Baby Luke. Nikolas and I hadn't seen one another in many months, since we both moved from Suffolk. It was just like the good old days, but better because we can both communicate so well now that we're really big boys. We played hard together. It was really fun.

For Luke and Stevie, it was love at first sight. Fortunately, Luke doesn't mind a bossy woman who knows what she wants in life. Stevie pushed him around in his car, and they shared romantic meals together.

Nikolas and I had such fun being silly together. Mom had a good time having a playdate with Miss Danielle, too. We can't wait to visit again soon!

Already Missing You, Aunt Sue!

And of course, Uncle Rick! (It just didn't rhyme, so I didn't use it in the title).

Stevie, Mommy and I had a terrific time with Aunt Sue and Uncle Rick this weekend. We were so busy playing (wearing out all the adults) that Mom didn't really take any pictures until just before their departure. I was so sad that I cried in the car after having to say goodbye. Mom says that maybe we'll go for a visit to Arizona soon. I will have two baby boy cousins to meet there before too long! Aunt Sue and Uncle Rick were so good to us. We can't wait to be with them again soon.

To Market, To Market

One of the best things about where we live, is that we can walk most places. When the weather is nice and Mom wants to burn extra calories, she pulls us in the wagon to the grocery. Here is a picture of us today, just before our departure.

Not a lot else new to report here. We had a great visit with Brent and Amy last weekend, and we are looking forward to a visit from Aunt Sue and Uncle Rick this weekend.

Stevie has taken up the cymbals (Mimi always comes up with the most thoughtful and enjoyable gifts), and I still enjoy a good book on the potty.

Law Does Central Park

Central park is one of my favorite places in New York City. We made an entire day of it on Sunday since Daddy was home. Stevie didn't enjoy the tire swing as much as me and Mommy, but she did have a good time in the sprinklers.

I did a lot of climbing!
Daddy and I conquered the rock mountain together, and I was surprised to find a few people sleeping at the top. I made sure that I told everyone around me to whisper so as not to disturb the nappers.
Since I've had so much practice, I feel as though I'm in a position to give a few pieces of advice to others who may be making a trip to Central Park in the near future.
Read on for some helpful tips on how to make your trip to Central Park an enjoyable one.
Tip #1 - Avoid Port-A-Potties at all costs. This goes for all of NYC, not just those located in
Central Park.
Tip #2 - Regardless of their best intentions, Daddies usually have no idea where they are. Insist
that your Dad uses a map. When you park thirty blocks away, you're never "almost
there".
Tip #3 - Demand ice cream. No matter how many healthful snacks your Mom has lugged along,
if you are loud and persistent, someone will give in.
Tip #4 - Pretty much everyone will have a better time if Mom is not cranky. This means she
should be permitted to pack a six pack in the diaper bag.

And so do I.

My First Trip to the Dentist

Today I visited the dentist for the very first time. It was pretty scary at first, but I ended up having a great time. Can you believe they gave me a new toothbrush and my very own tube of toothpaste? I think the dental hygienist felt sorry for me when I cheered with delight after receiving the generous gift.

And now for a close up of my pearly whites. Looking good.
