Philly's Please Touch Museum

Uncle Bob and Aunt Cindy raved about the children's museum in Philly, and they were not exaggerating! It was incredible. Mommy's friend Ms. Erika and her daughter Josey met us there, and we had a great time. Josey and I were fast friends. We made a pretty fabulous team at the grocery store.

Stevie loved the water area. She made a lot of new friends. It's too bad there wasn't an area where one could brush one's hair. How embarrassing.

Josey was an excellent bus driver. She told everyone when to get off, and when to sit down. Stevie and I loved riding on her bus!

One of our favorite exhibits was the airplane flying room. We constructed airplanes from different foam pieces, then cranked them up all the way to the ceiling on a pulley. Watching them sail down was the best!

We all really enjoyed the music area. Josey was really good at the piano. Stevie gave a VERY long concert at the piano, and I rocked crazy beats on the drum set. My mom was super proud.

Ms. Erika is a lot of fun. She made us laugh, and Mommy was really happy to see her. We have tons and tons of other pictures from the museum. We all cried when it was time to leave, even though we stayed for more than four hours.

Riding the Heat Wave

There just doesn't seem to be any "in between" in New York. When we play in the backyard we play in snow or sweat. Sunday it was sweat.

Mimi gave us these adorable matching outfits! We were a hit at church. It's too bad that I continue to fight the butt cut. It just seems to be my hair's natural tendency.

Why Sea Horses Don't Neigh

Why DON'T sea horses neigh? This is the question Stevie, Aydin, and I tried to answer
throughout our trip to the aquarium today.

There were a lot of pretty cool animals, though many of them were on vacation, but Stevie's favorite animal was the sea horse. Obviously, the only problem was that those darn horses didn't make any noise. Stevie didn't mind making sounds for those poor quiet animals. Aydin and I liked the sharks best. They were half awesome and half terrifying.

Stevie and I also really liked the marsh area. I liked it because I could put half of my arm in the smelly water without anyone noticing, and Stevie liked it because I could put half of my arm in the smelly water without anyone noticing.

For Nanny

This is especially for you, Nanny! We wish we could be with you to celebrate your birthday tomorrow. Big hugs and kisses to you from me, Daddy, Mommy, and Stevie Lee. We love you! Also, all the developmental pediatricians out there can disregard my rocking and crazy eye movements. It's hard for a big boy like me to concentrate and sit still for this long!

Best Friends Are We

Making friends ain't easy in New York; especially when you're from Virginia. Fortunately, going to preschool really helped me on the social scene, and now I have a couple of real playmates. This is a picture of me and my best friend, Kevin. We have a great time together, and I feel really fortunate to have him.

Peter Cotton Tail & Baby Elaina!

Mommy, Stevie, and I made a pilgrimage to Virginia to meet our new cousin, Elaina. For us, it was love at first sight. Honestly, my cousin is the smartest, cutest baby Stevie and I have ever seen. The proof is in the picture.

While we were visiting, the Easter Bunny found us at Mimi's house AND Aunt Jessie's house. I never knew bunnies were so darn smart. We had a great time hunting for eggs.

Regardless of the activity, Stevie always tries to be fashion forward.

My favorite part of our trip was meeting my favorite cousin, but I have to say that playing, "Hungry Happy Hippos" with Tio Paul was a close second. He always chooses the coolest presents for me.

We miss everyone so much that we're already planning our next trip back!
