Life with Stevie

Life with Stevie is good. I really love being a big brother. I hold my sister, sing to her, and tell her when it's time to stop crying. This morning, I even read her a book! Mommy wanted to make sure that I made a disclaimer about this picture. She's actually way thinner since this picture was taken last week. Now she only looks about four months pregnant instead of eleven months pregnant like last week!

Probably the best part about Stevie's arrival is the fact that we get a lot of company these days. Nanny and Mimi and Ahgoo have been here a lot to play with me. This weekend, Aunt Jessie and Tio Paul came as well. It was the best! I had such a fun time playing with them. Tio Paul took a lot of great pictures of Stevie, so I have included them below. Isn't my Aunt Jess so pretty? My Tio Paul is not a bad looking fellow either. Hopefully, they will make us some cousins soon.

Welcome, Baby Stevie!

My baby sister is here! She arrived at the hospital on Friday, July 6th, at 6:54pm. She was 6lbs, 12oz, and was 18 3/4 inches long.

I was really excited to finally meet her in person. After all, I have been talking to her through Mommy's enormous tummy for months now. She was very cute, but she makes a lot of annoying noises for such a little girl!

I visited Mommy and Stevie at the hospital on Saturday morning. I loved holding the baby! It was fun to see Mommy too. The best part about the weekend was that Nanny, Mimi, and Ahgoo were all with me to celebrate Stevenson's arrival. It was a real treat!

After I met Stevie Lee in person, I had a cookie to celebrate. It was delicious. Do you want to know something else? People kept bringing me "big brother presents"! Have you ever heard of such a thing? It was amazing.

So far, I really like being a big brother. My favorite part is that I have already taught my sister a lot of tricks. Look at how I've gotten her

to pick my nose for me!

Nanny & the Botanical Gardens

I had a wonderful day today visiting the Norfolk Botanical Gardens with Mom, Dad, and Nanny! There is a "train" that takes you through all of the gardens. The only inconvenient thing about the train is that it stops for people to get on and off. That was annoying.

The train took us right to the "World of Wonders".

I had a great time cooling off in all of the fountains, but my favortie part was the spitting frogs.

Daddy and I had a fun time enjoying the shade together. He let me borrow his sunglasses.


After we were finished, the train picked us up and took us right back to our truck. It was a terrific day!
