Boom!

This is a video of me stacking blocks. I am getting very good at making towers. What I have really perfected, is the way I knock them down! Don't bother turning up the sound on this one. It's another silent clip. If you look carefully though, you can read my lips as I backhand the tower.

Here's the link to view the video.

Sealed with a Kiss

Mommy and I try to write a letter to Daddy everyday. Now that I can color pictures for him, it's even more fun! For me, the best part about writing to Daddy, is that I get to put the letters into the mailbox. There are days when we get really lucky, and we get to watch the mail carrier put the mail into our box. He plays very soulful music in his mail truck, and sometimes I dance for him.

Don't Tell Daddy...

Please don't tell my Dad, but today I wore a new shirt that I really love. I even gave it a touchdown! Papya sent this to me, and I just couldn't wait to wear it. I am such a lucky boy. Thank you so much, Papya!

Mom said that if I really want to go to Duke when I grow up, there will be a couple of rules to remember. I'm sure you can all guess that I am strictly prohibited from joining the lacrosse team.
The other thing my Mom told me was that I better start studying. That made me laugh because I heard that my Dad never had to study, and I think that I'm a lot like him. Mom reminded me that Dad may have a few stipulations of his own about going to Duke.
Most importantly, Mom says that I better start saving if I really want to go to Duke. Here is a video of me doing just that.
Don't you all think it's funny that I got so much flak just for wearing a t-shirt?

Dr. Aunt Jess

This weekend was a very exciting one! It started out beautifully when Mimi and Ahgoo arrived to my house on Friday evening just before bath time. We had so much fun playing all day on Saturday. While we were playing, my Aunt Jess officially became Dr. Jessie! Mom didn't take me to the ceremony (to save the embarrassment), but we got to celebrate on Sunday.

It was awesome! I played with all of my favoritee people, and I got to see Aunt Sue and Uncle Rick for the first time in five months! I loved them so much, that I fed them raisins and goldfish. They were a lot of fun. My Mom and I hope we get to see them again soon.

My Mom was not too good about remembering to take pictures because we were having too much fun celebrating. Here are a couple.

Watering Nanny's flowers was so much fun!

I was sad when Mimi had to leave so early. The party was just getting started!

New (Old) Videos

Here are a couple of links to old videos that Mom (thanks to Aidan's Dad) has figured out how to convert into a different format, and upload with sound. The first one is of me playing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQneBY0yQwg

The second video is of me playing in my ball pit with my very smart and pretty girlfriend, Amanda Kate.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9J6T_QzaCgs

Both videos will have a banner flashing over them. This is because Mom is using a free trial on the program that converts the videos into uploadable formats. The other thing about these videos is that they're kind of long, and may be a little boring unless you're Nanny, Mimi, or Ahgoo. I just wanted to give fair warning!

Meet Bob

Here is a picture of me and my German Bear, Bob (Bob De Bar is his native name). My Tio Paul found Bob when he was on a business trip in Germany, and he gave him to me before I was even born. I'm learning to take very good care of Bob.

I feed him when he is hungry, and I share my pacifier with him when he is feeling sad. Mom explained that Bob is allowed to have the pacifier during the day (not just at night like me) because he is a baby bear.

We play together a lot. Bob never minds when I play rough with him. He also doesn't send me to time-out if I hit him when I get a little frustrated.

I kiss Bob so that he knows how much I love him. His face is very soft.

Bob and I are the best of friends!

A Hokie Chair of My Very Own

Daddy will be so proud of me at my first tailgate this football season. I'm already practicing relaxing in my new Hokie Chair. Aunt Jess gave me this very special gift, and I love it!

In case you couldn't tell from the pictures, this is a very comfortable chair. Mom is already trying to teach me how to break it down and set it up. We haven't worked on putting it back into the carrying bag, but I'm sure that will come soon.

Do you think that Daddy will make me carry my own tailgating chair AND the rolling cooler?

Mother's Day

Today I had a great time celebrating Mother's Day with Mom, Aunt Jess, Nanny, and Nana. It really felt like Law's Day though, because when we got to Nanny's house, there were tons of new toys for me, as well as an adoring audience. To the right, you will see me pushing my new bubble lawn mower. It sounded real!

Is there anything better than driving a lawn mower, and getting a head tickle from Aunt Jess at the same time? I think not.

Check out the rake! It had a matching shovel, but I didn't have time to play with it, because I was very busy tending to Nanny's driveway. It was back-breaking work, but for Nanny, I will do anything.

Saying goodbye to Aunt Jess is never easy. I miss her already.
Saying goodbye to Nanny makes me downright mad. I even called out her name when Mom was putting me in the carseat. I love you, Nanny!

Show Me the Ice Cream

For dessert tonight, Mom said that she was going to let me have "ice cream" Mimi style (out of the carton). I'm not sure who she thought she was fooling. Not only have I had the opportunity to sample real ice cream before, on the specialist of occasions (Nana's birthday), but the container clearly stated, "Raspberry Sorbet". The thing that was making me laugh the hardest, were the words, "Fat-Free". Did she think I was that desperate for dessert?

If she did, she was right. It would be impossible for a grilled cheese and fruit to tide a growing boy over until morning. Fortunately, the fruity ice cream knock-off was edible. Eating straight out of the carton made it even more enticing. As every civilized little boy knows, sorbet is for cleansing one's palate. For this reason, I was very confused when my Mom did not bring me the next course!

Chopsticks Please!

Today my Mom made veggie stir fry for lunch, and I thought it was delicious! Aunt Jess introduced me to spicy foods quite a long time ago, so I was disappointed when I discovered that the stir fry lacked any real "kick". Nevertheless, I cleaned two bowls, and I'm hoping there will be leftovers for tomorrow. Ciao!

No More Mullet

It's true. Today Mom took me to get my first haircut. This was preauthorized by my Dad, who has previously been my mullet's number one fan. After seeing recent pictures, he agreed that my mulletude was getting out of control.

BEFORE

MID-MULLET-LOSS

AFTER

I spent a great deal of the evening reaching to find my mullet, only to remember it was now in a plastic bag. I'm starting to get used to having a bare neck, and I'm hoping that the ladies will like this look as much as the old one.

Some of you may have heard that my Mom is a little cheap. We both decided that we'll save $16 (not to mention a temper tantrum and a very close call when I was swatting the scissors away from my head) next time, and clip a few locks in the tub. Who knew that kid's cuts were such a racket?

My Megan & Bobby

A couple of weekends ago, I got to visit my Megan and Bobby. I call them mine because they are related to me. Technically, they are my second cousins, but they sure do feel a lot closer than that. For this reason, I just call them mine. I made myself right at home when we visited their beautiful new house. My Bobby made me feel very comfortable. He even let me be in charge of the remote! He's awesome.

Then, there's My Megan. I gave her lots of hugs; and even kisses! She really knew how to play, and do you know what else she knew about? Head rubs! She tickled my head just like my Aunt Jess does! It was amazing! After our visit to Waynesboro, I felt as though I had spent the entite day at a spa. I
can't wait to see My Megan and Bobby again soon!

I Can Color

Since I got kicked out of the church nursery after twenty (long) minutes today, Mom and I had a lot of extra time to play before lunch. She decided to see if I was ready for coloring. At first, I thought it was kind of lame.

After a few minutes, I realized what fun coloring can really be! To the right, you can see that I am very pleased. This is because I threw a crayon to my dog, and she ate some of it. It made me laugh.

I decided to give it a try myself. And you know what? One of the best parts about coloring is definitely the taste.

This is by far one of my favorite shots. Regretfully, this led to an abrupt end of my art session. I was laughing so hard that I couldn't refrain from throwing the red crayon towards the camera. Can you believe that my Mom got a picture of it in midair? Amazing. It looks like Mom is the one who's not ready for coloring. I've been ready for months. She always seems to lag a little behind me.

Daddy!

Here is a picture my Daddy sent to us today! He is holding a little girl who is my age. She wanted my Dad to hold her and play with her. I'm glad that he is getting good practice while he is away. I'm also happy because I know that he can't be with me right now because he has to help other people like this little girl. I really miss my Dad a lot, but I sure am proud of him!

Yummy!

My Mom finally realized that if she wanted me to feed myself with a spoon, she was going to have to fill up my bowl with something appetizing. Pudding was adequate.

I don't usually eat naked, but one can imagine how messy such an activity can become.

There is also video footage if you'd like to see this live! I know Daddy really wants me to be a NASCAR driver, but I think competitive eating may be just the thing for me.

My New Grocery Cart

Grocery shopping is something that is taken very seriously around Mimi's house. I have become a shopping expert over the course of one short weekend. I can't wait to go back to Mimi's house to practice again! Finding a bargain is just plain exhilarating.

Video: Law's Bath

Here is a very short video of me taking my bath tonight. My Mom still doesn't know how to add sound. I think it's a good thing because she raised her voice when I drank that bath water. Click on the link below to see how well I can bathe myself!
